Sweeping east from Broometowards Fitzroy Crossing, the historic cattle country of the Kimberly will unfold before you. Landing in Fitzroy Crossing you will be transported by bus to Geikie Gorge, formed as part of an ancient reef system in the Devonian period. A boat tour through the gorge will transport you through the world of the Aboriginal Dreamtime, highlighting the area’s cultural significance, and the unique wildlife including the fresh water crocodiles. Before heading back to the airways you will explore the Fitzroy Crossing township, the new developments and the old quirks. En route to your next stop you will over fly Windjana Gorge, the colourful cliff faces are an amazing sight from above. The famed Mt Hart Station is our next stop to enjoy a gourmet lunch and a wander of the historic station. The afternoon flight takes us coastal to the remote islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago and the tidal wonders of the Horizontal Falls. A stopover at Cape Leveque allows you to unwind for afternoon tea, as you inspect the beauty of the pindan-red cliffs against the crystal-blue waters, what a sight! Bound for Broome across the Dampier Peninsula you will see the Aboriginal Communities of Lombadina and Beagle Bay, as well as Willie Creek and Cable Beach upon approach into Broome.
